Clicking noise

that annoying clicking noise that usually only happens at start up is still going after i drive the car and the turbo timer is running it a little extra. What is it and why? it never use to do it

sound like lifer tick to me... mine ticks all the time. I wouldn't worry tomuch about it if it is just lifter tick. How many miles are on your car?

the motor is only 7, xxx miles old, but the lifters do have like 100,xxx on them. My belief is that one of the lifters colapsed. The tick goes away after awhile, so i believe i have a collapsed lifter or two. no big deal, just causes noise

Buy some 3rd gen lifters.
