clicking noise in throttle

There is a clicking noise that sounds like a relay coming from around the intake manifold throttle body area. It does it when the car is not running but in the on postition and when the car is running? Anyone had this problem before? please help noise is driving me crazy.

Could it be the ICS cycling? I would check there......

yea it is the isc, would that cause the car to stall too? what should i do should i replace it? thanx

It could cause the car to stall if it let the rpms drop low enough. I bypassed mine completely, but I live in the South (hotter climate). You may just want to look for a good used one. The factory new price on those is outragous.

How do you bypass the ISC?

You can search for different ways of bypassing the isc; it has been done different ways.

What I did, was a complete fiav blockoff and siliconed the isc in place so it could not leak (give the silicone time to cure)... I left the harness unplugged from the isc and used electrical tape to prevent water from entering it.
I have had no problems from this mod and no check engine light.

I will try to take pics and do a write-up on my method this weekend........

i've just finish replacing the isc but it's still making that clicking noise o man this is driving me crazy.

mine clicks when the battery is very low

battery is only 3 months old

Mine was 2 weeks old and still a good battery(held a charge good) but my alternater was shot so it wasnt fully charged.
