So tomorrow ive decided since i have the WHOLE day OFF, i was going to tackle the cleaning of my engine bay. I debated and debated whether or not to power wash it and decided not to. Im just gonna do it the old fashion way of elbow grease and lot of paper towel, rags, clothes, and a toothbrush. THis way i can get the car looking good and nice and clean for midnight madness if i go this weekend.

This is just a before shot taken a month or two ago....

Nice work. I'm interested in what you did with the fuse box. I'm thinking of relocating my battery to the trunk, maybe I'll do the same thing with the fuse box.

The less stuff in an engine bay, the better, imho. I just took my engine out and I'm eliminating the AC, cruise, ABS, emissions, balance shafts and maybe even the ISC gadget on the throttle body. A simple mind needs a simple DSM.

I honestly just moved it, the wires all extended and fit, i just bolted it to the firewall using a screw already there. Everything works fine and no problems. I still have my cruise however and it underneath the fuse box. Im still debating keeping it or not, but with it gone its really a lot cleaner. Oh and my intake mani should be power coated soon and then im removing all my vac lines and capping them off so it will be a lot cleaner, oh and hiding my solenoids...soon. Ill post more pics when its done.
