Wrapping things up on the GSX. Looking to pull it out maybe next week? hopefully. The weather has been beautiful around here in Wisconsin. So I took the whole week after school to work on my car. Besides the setbacks of homework and my Job. But today I woke up to 30 degree weather and snow again...

I've been building up a stock pile of new OEM parts in my room, and I still have more coming in the mail! :sneaky:

Of course just like my previous Blogs, here come the pictures.

I bought a valve cover Spring of 2009 thinking I would have it powder coated anodized red. But, looking at my cracked and dirty valve cover. I decided to put this guy to use. It was originally powder coated red, then spray bombed flat black. Took 1 1/2 cans of aircraft stripper to clean it off.

Here it is primed

Here it is painted

Still needs to be cleared, and the letters sanded.

Decided to clean these guys... Side skirt cups

Interior.
Not sure why the carpet appears dirty, it looks very minty in person! I took it to my dads work and we cleaned it with his industrial carpet cleaner 3 times. All 3 times the water came out looking like oil. It was that dirty.

Oh, and here. Look what the mail man dropped off a few minutes ago....

NGR Blow off Valve. Yummy :sneaky:

I would love to hear your feedback!!! More updates will be coming this week!!

Nice man. I'd polish that heat shield up if I were you. How much was that bov? Ive never heard of them. I need to clean my carpet also.

Looks good man,I polished my greddy intercooler pipng thig weekend I. Started out with 150 sanded them down then went to 320 and then used a power drill with buffing wheel on it on a arbor and the brown buffing compound stick for aluminum, I purchased the stick ,arbor, and wheel from sears for about 7 bucks total, everything turned out great, even polished the end tanks, then my bracket broke so now my intercoolers on the floor LOL gonna make new berackets tomorrow

good work so far my friend, one questoins as that bov looks like a greddy style, why not the greddy valve LOL? I have one and I have to say, I love it!

The NGR bov is a eBay bov but with NGRs stronger internals. This combo
is said to offer a fraction of the price of a new Greddy and supposedly a stronger bov than the Greddy ITSELF. I've never done comparisons but that's what has been said.
