Clean splines?

How can I clean the splines on my axles and tranny and such? they are sitting out of the car and I want everything nice and clean before I put it together. Also, what can I use to run through the transfer case, tranny and maybe rear diff to get any dirt out of them before I put it together, just some cheap oil, run it, then refill? Because I would really like to do some sort of forceful "flush" to get stuff loose and out.

How could dirt have gotten in?

No flushing is needed.

Use a wire brush to clean the splines. Give them a wipe of oil before assembling.

i recently cleaned mine up with aerosol brake cleaner in a can. drys fast and cleans off anything

I have used Varsol (which is a paint thinner/cleaning solvent) to flush ATV differentials. They do get a lot of dirt and water inside of them.
You might have some fine shavings inside of the tranny and diff, not actual dirt.
And you can use a wire wheel or a brush for the splines, as Defiant said.
