circuit problem?!

hey guys for the last 5 days ive been trying to figure out whats wrong with my 95 eclipse gs, the car is completely dead, I put the keys and nothing happens.
The car was running until I replaced my positive and negative terminals on the battery, I clean everything up and double checked everything.
I tested the battery and it is strong, and Ive checked all fuses. The car will stat when I boost it, it runs fine with no engine light or anything. When i kill the engine everything dies completely... when i try to start it not even a dim light...

Help!

you most likely did something wrong when you replaced the terminals. Triple check them to make sure. Sounds like a bad connection

iev checked the too many times, I just re installed them 20 min ago again for the 10 time. Could it be my starter relay?

I don't see how. If you're car was fine before and now it will only start using a jump then that tells me something is wrong between the terminals and the battery posts. Is yours a top or side post battery?

Are the terminals making good connection with the wire they are on?

its a top post battery, yes the contact is very good, nice and right and clean! i even brushed it down with steel bush to clean the terminals.. There is 4 back plugs right above my battery on the firewall, i unpluged 2 of them and they really gross. what is that?

I don't know. I have a 1g so i don't have much experience with a 2g. Did you short anything when you did it. Have you tried it with a different battery?

i havent tried a new one, Ive tested it and it reads good, im getting 13 volts

If it starts when someone jumps (is that what you mean by 'boost' it? Or do you mean get it rolling and then dump the clutch?) it, there is absolutely no reason it shouldn't work as long as your battery is good...

Maybe take a picture of the battery, someone might notice a problem. Check all your grounds too!

If you jump the car to get it started, and then pull the jumper cables off, does it continue to run or does it die?

I think pictures would be the next best step...

take your battery to wallmart they can test it, a lot of times when battery is not healthy it would still read good voltage I worked in auto center in wallmart and tested a lot of brand new batteries returned by customers and most of them read good voltage but tester they have also reads the health of the battery , and brand new batteries can be bad, the cells in the battery sometimes just go bad that's why paople sometimes just top off acid inside because cells are still good no need for new battery. but take this regarding the battery and it's easy to know for sure if it's the battery and at wallmart they test it for free and charge it for free also.
