points for originality, but do you really plan on looking down there when going WOT???
For the few times that I look at the boost gauge (I check it about once a week) Its okay. John

Anybody have any pictures of this? i was thinking once i get my wideband it'd be a pretty cool place to put it yet keeping it discrete. If you have any pictures of any gauges it doesnt matter what kind of gauge i just want to get the affect of it. Thanks, Jeff

Thanks a lot man, that looks really good. Any trimming around the edges or anything like that?

Well. While in the process of doing my 6 bolt swap (which is taking for F-ing ever, mainly becasue I'm lazy) I decided to get a real oil pressure gauge (mechanial). And since my A-pillar is filled, I decided to put it were the cigarette lighter is/was. Well, Me being impatient and stupid, slipped with the razor blade and put a corner in my hole :notgood: So Dad and I came up with this little solution... Its a piece of 2in I/D PVC pipe painted black. I used a porting bit to make the old hole a little bit bigger (not using a razor and haveing some patients this time) and slide it right in. Used some RTV blue to hold it in place, and this is how it turned out...

I plan on using some black RTV around the edge to make it blend a little better, but I need to get some.

So critique my work!
good? bad? okay?

Man, I'd sure miss the lighter.
Haha, yeah, well, Mike, I don't think I'm as stressed, or crazy for that matter, as you are so I have no need to chain smoke... SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I did this mod...
Plus, Im going put the cig lighter on the passanger side kick panel so I can still use my phone charger, and in that HIGHLY unlikely situation that I see you on the side of the road (probably because your DSM borke down), there will be a cig lighter for you :thumb:

ROFL Well, the gauge does look good there. I think it's a smart move to at least keep the receptacle for misc. things.

I have my boost gauge there too. I also hooked up 2 12v outlets on my car. One for my Radar Detector and the other for my cell phone charger/Power Inverter.

I cant remember if it was on this forum or my other non eclipse forum but has anyone ever put a gauge where the cigerette lighter is? I dunno if it would work if there is could someone post the link up for me? I serached but nothing came up. Im intalling an oil pressure gauge and think thats a good place I dont want an A-pillar

Actually, I don't see how that would be a good spot for a gauge, you'd have to take your eyes completely off the road to view it.
