Ok, my list of mods is evo III ported 16g, 680 injectors, walbro 255, afc, and mbc.

The problem is I'm burning gas very quick.

I've tried replacing the o2 sensor twice, new air filter, new fuel filter, new pump...my afc correction is on 19% and i'm still running rich, my max exhaust temp is about 700 degrees Celceus

What else could cause me to burn gas like this!!?

I assume your S-AFC settings are (-)19%? The 680s flow ~50% more fuel than your stockers and the 255 may be artificially boosting your base Fuel Pressure.

Do you have a datalogger? If so what are your trims like?

ok, i have an automatic so my injector size is 390 stock, and i upgraded to 680, the afc II is capible of up to 50% fuel correction right? yes my settings are at -19% so what do you figure i do to solve the problem? no i do not have a data logger...

With the auto ecu and 680cc injectors, You will probably end up at or really close to -50% on the afc but you shoud have really invested in a logger setup before you even considered modding the fuel system. I would get a logger setup and an afpr and tune from there. Thats the only way you can get close on the tune because no one here can tell you exactly where to set the afc without seeing what your fuel trims are.

I don't see any mention of an AFPR in there anywhere. If you don't have one you're massively overrunning your stock FPR and injectors.

I'd suggest you first get a datalogger (there are quite a few Dataloggers on eBay for $20-30) or the DSM ScanTool.. which will allow you to monitor changes in O2, knock, timing, fuel trims as you make adjustments to the S-AFC.

Another recommendation would be to get a DSMChips EPROM (if your ECU is EPROMed) calibrated for your specific setup which would allow you to zero out your S-AFC (i.e. global fuel at the ECU level would be changed) so could run with a better timing map.

In the meantime.. may want to take a few 3rd gear pulls taking out more fuel with each run until your EGTs hit low-mid 800C.

i called www.automotosports.com and they said they got over 500 horse out of the stock fuel system, they said my stock afpr was more then fine, i don't have the hp walbro 255 pump just the regular 255, they said that it was tuned incorrectly most likley and that i should have them do it with a wideband and it will be fine, does this sound ok? i mean can somebody get me a link to exactly what i need on ebay, cuz i've seen so many dataloggers and i can't figure out exactly what i need, please help. thanks

THIS is the one I got after my TMO cable broked. They even send you "backup" datalogging software.. so all you need is a laptop or PDA.

As for the WB tuning.. I'd be leary of taking too much fuel out with the S-AFC as it will put you on a super-aggressive timing map making you more succeptable to knock. Mention this to AMS.

The DSMChips upgrade is definitely the way to go.. unless you want to go 1G DSMLink (which comes out ina couple months :D ).. which would provide a datalogging and a ton of other goodies :thumb:
