Both of my headlights on my 95 Talon are really dirty on the inside. My dad and I both tried figuring out how to take the assembly out and then we were gonna clean it so its nice and clear but we cant figure out how to take out the headlights or whatever we need to take them out. Might sound sort of a newbie question but its definately kickin my ass. Thanks alot guys. Pictures wouldnt hurt if ya got any. But ill understand what ya say.

2G's are a little... funked up when it comes to the headlight removal. The book says to remove the front bumper to get to the last bolt on the headlight. When you flip to the bumper removal, it says to re move the headlight to ge to the bolts on the bumper. Don't ask.

It's simple. Unlpug the headlight and side marker connectors.. not exactly fun, you have to reach up from the bottom of the car. Take out the.. 3 (10 mm?) available bolts in the engine bay, leaving you with the one outside one. At this point grap the headlight and yank it forward (seriously) The last tab will break and you can get the headlight out. Don't worry about that last bolt, they put it there just to screw with you, it's not needed. I do recomend taking it out when the head light is gone.

Check out the tech guide for a few ideas on how to "unyellow" the lights.

You mention that you want to clean out the inside of the light. How does your outside look. I got a very helpful tip that i got off of the website a while back for cleaning my outside headlight lens. :dsm: :thumb:
