Please, critique my log to make it better. I redid a lot and got it set almost right I think, it now sounds like it has cams LOL, before it didnt even sound like it. Wideband was registering 14.3-14.9 during these logs. This is a SD setup with no maf.

At first glance your CombinedFT's are pretty high, ~10%. They should be hovering around 0%. You will need to increase you global injector deadtime to bring that down. Your AirFlowPerRev looks good. Have you done the SDVE Adjust (Combined FT's)? That's what I would do next after getting your fuel trims down.

Also I don't know if you've seen this write up before but it goes step by step and is very helpful. It is what I used when I first switched to SD. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-tuning-ecu/395564-how-tune-1g-v3-sd-ecmlink-no-maf.html

I have been using that guide since i started setting up my car, some of it is accurate, some of it isn't. (being mine is a 2g) some of the stuff he says to do isn't working for me. I haven't used the SDVE Adjust, sorry for sounding like a newb, but how do I access it? I got my airflowperrev down with the speed density tab under ecuconfig. Ive been adding deadtime to no avail getting STFT and combinedft down to 0. Keep in mind they're only evo8 injectors and my deadtime is high as it is LOL. Also, i might add, the motor is sometimes shaking like its running wrong, but sounds fine, idle is a little jumpy but not erratic. Could it be the cams making the motor rock back and forth?

Oh yeah I forgot that was targeted for a 1g. It's still mostly applies though.

To access the SDVE Adjust right click on the datalog screen and select it. Here is more info on it from ECMTuning: sdveadjcomft [ECMTuning - wiki] It is used to automatically dial in your VE table for closed loop driving conditions. Make sure you get your idle set first though. I would keep trying to raise your deadtimes until you get them to zero. There could be something else going on, but regards off the size of the injector you should be able to dial them in at idle.

Thanks for the help I appreciate it. Guess I have some more reading to do! Haha

Edit: are you telling me to do the sdve adjust at idle or driving around? Haven't even tried driving it yet.

No problem! The SDVE is for driving around in closed loop. You need to get your combinedFT's in line first though. That should finish up your idle. Then do the SDVE for closed loop. Sorry if I jumped ahead and confused you.

Something is severely wrong. The last time I had my car running, I dialed in my airflowperrev and got my combinedft a little off, as you can see with the logs i posted. I start the car today, and its running like a bag of ****. It was idle surging up and down until it got to 180*. Wideband was going insanely rich to insanely lean. I cant get my isc postion or my STFT or combinedFT within spec and i dont know why. When all warmed up the wideband is going from 14.0-15.3. Why is it going lean? No matter how much deadtime I add or remove the wideband will not hold anywhere near 14.7. Idle is set at 950 and its bouncing more than +/- 50 rpm. Help me please!

Well, on the last log your CombinedFT's were about 10% and now they are about -10%. You will need to remove some of that deadtime now. It was at 415 and you moved it up to 615. Try 515 for starters since that is in the middle.

Have you done a boost leak test? If I start to get an idle surge or high idle the first thing I do is a boost leak test. Last time that started happening I did a boost leak test and found that my PCV line had ripped clean in half. This was on Speed Density, so don't let people tell you boost leaks don't effect your tune with SD.

Your wideband fluctuating from ~14.0-15.3 sounds about normal. In closed loop the wideband will fluctuate as the o2 sensor cycles. However looking at your AFRatioEST it stays about 15-16:1 the whole time which is lean and I'm not sure why.
