I forget, do you have a log of knock, i know evo scan records knock, so please post that up please.

I do not believe you can log knock on a 2g. Even with Evo Scan

Make sure your TPS is reading 10% at idle and 100% at WOT

I put a larger spring on the Throttle cable, because it will not shut all the way. The old spring was going bad. When I'm at Satan tomorrow, I'll probably spend like $50 on a new spring, LOL.

Yea, evoscan does not log knock. It does knock sensor voltage. But thats useless. I can fart and raise knock sensor voltage. LOL

Ya Evo Scan isn't as cool as it looks, but does a great job with data. Its super fast through USB on my computer. When I turn it on it says "link in gauged" I feel like I'm in the Fast and Furious.:shhh:

Yea honestly first thing i would do is fix that TPS if possible, if that was meant to be a WOT run in parts you still have 30% more power to gain just from adjusting that cable!

LOL "link engauged" Yea. Evoscan looks good. I like it. I really like the graphing. So I dont have to look at all of the values in the spreadsheet at once. I can just select which ones I want to look at and plot them on a graph. But I think that if Im going to keep my dsm that Im going to have to get dsmlink.

Yes. I have been following that thread too. Very very enticing. But I think dsmlink provides a more thorough tuning solution. Also samples rates are an ass of alot higher on the link than it is on evoscan.

Update:

I did another boost leak test today. The car loses pressure fast. I heard air escaping by the throttle body, but sprayed everything down and found no bubbles. I then tested again, and had my buddy push down on the gas, and the sound changed. I must have a big boost leak at my throttle body shaft seals.

Could this leak be bad enough to cause fuel cut?

It can do a lot of things. Your car is losing metered air that your ECU think it has, so it compensates by adding fuel, and the car isnt fully igniting all the gas, probably leading to pinging, so it sputters and pulls timing. Which would explain those crazy timing logs.
