Finally finished my complete fuel system. Time to start getting stuff dialed in. I think I am on the right track, I have a few questions...
Mods are:
-wally 255
-fuel lab afpr, filter, -6 an lines from filter to afpr
-FIC fuelrail
-FIC 1050s
-Rewire (4ga from battery to sub amp junction box on rear seat, 8ga from box to FP harness, car side. factory wire for the last foot of wire to the FP)
-No boost leaks, tested last week, nothing has changed b/t turbo and IM. (there is pinhole from bad weld on the LICP but that can wait a while. its insignificant)
-Running V3lite and SD

(any other mods are in the profile)

This time I was sure to log low/med/hi LTFT. I think my combined FTs, airflow/rev, are on point. a little confirmation would be nice.

Its ok that my combined (and low LTFT) rise by 2% when the radiator fan comes on?

If its not on target, what should change and how? (I watched the ecmtuning wiki a ton of times and used those methods to achieve these results)

No pulls yet... I popped a tire and refuse to drive the spare unless it to get new tires mounted.

Is knock retard normal during staging? (bouncing off or 4500 rev limiter?)

I think I have to adjust tip in, Im just unsure how much at a time and at which rpms.

I assume going a little lean before fuel cutoff (when letting go of the gas pedal quickly) is ok,right?

one log is pure idle, the other is resting throttle stabs.

Im not on my PC but I actually have not looked over any of this... . Just thought I'd let you know that if you posted in your other thread anyone else who has would see it and You would probably get more help.

I'd have to get a look from my PC and let you know what I think here in a bit;)

both were at the same time (well, not simultaneous, but in the same period, the idle was first, and I shut the car down, restarted it, and took the idle stab log because I realized asking questions about something i didn't have a log for didn't make sense.)

Everything between the 2 is constant besides throttle position (at times). Driveway position and mods are all constant. both were taken immediately after installing the Walbro255hp (the last, chronologically, mod of the listed mods). "Tune" was the same.

So what are these non-major issues? This is my first time tuning anything (aside from guitars ROFL)
I dont want any issues :thumb:

Before I get into all my issues, I would like to get my idle dialed in perfectly if possible. Im sure the below could contribute to my issues, but I only want to deal with idle issues for now. then VE, then part thottle, then low-boost... etc.

Im not positive, but ill list some things I see problems with and why I am stuck (in hopes someone can unstick me)

-Throttle Tip In:
Every time I hit the accelerator, I go lean (like ~15.5 afr) and then go to the right, rich, side. I don't know if that's somewhat normal or should be tuned out. Throttle response feels pretty instant and without bogs on tip-in. this might also have something to do with my....

-VE table: Its pretty embarrasing. I started with the factory one and let ECMlink do its thing with the appropriate tool and using 50% TPS, and a 1.3 load factors to allow for more closed loop logging to set the values. all are pretty untouched (and done on a 14b) it needs smoothing. it probably needs something else too because...

AFRs: they get pretty far from the targets although the rewire/255 helped bump them closer to target. I don't really know the relationship b/t AFR (LC-1), Target AFR, and AFR Est. I know what they mean, i just don't exactly know how to interpret the results (all at the same time, not individually) and use that info to make adjustments. Would a bad VE table (mine LOL) mess with AFRs?

Could I start with gofers VE table from here http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/152662222-post23.html since hes running a 68hta, (sort of comparable to a 20g, probably more so than a 14b...) and tweak that instead of what I have?
