I have a 1g and I keep getting this code, is the air temp sensor and we all know is in the maf. Sooooo yesturday I went and bout a brand new never installed non refurbished maf, hooked it up and after a min the light popes up again........same code. Now.......would this be the ecm? I checked the ecm and it looks fine, no leaks or anything bad. Does anyone else has experience on this topic? It won't pass emmitions because of it and my permit is out LOL, sooooo anyone? Thanks guys!!

Did you check the harness and connector to make sure all of the wires are connected and the terminals are clean?

Yes I checked and all the wires look clean but not I haven't checked for continuity. What are the conectors for the ait on the plug to check continuity? And how many ohms should it read?

Probe terminals 6 and 8 of the Intake air temperature sensor(IAT). When the car is cold it should read:6 ohms.
As temperatures rise the resistance is lower.
To check battery voltage to the airflow meter probe terminal 3. It should read 12 volts. Hope this helps man

u know.....i checked my ohms and therye reading fine. maf is reading 2.3ohms at about 80f. i have 4.99 volts on the maf/barometric, which is what it should be according to the haynes book. im starting to think that is my damn ecu.

And ecm it is!!!!! Haha its resolved. After finding another ecm, switched it and wala!!! No code. But it poped the knock sensor code wich.....I replaced and light is off now. Takin it for emissions this check :)

oh no theres no tickets but i cant get it registered without the emissions passed. wich sucks LOL
