So pretty much I've not been happy lately, I've had this check engine on since I bought the car and I replaced the Fuel pressure Solenoid and nothing still on, I'm just getting sick of seeing it on and don't know what else to do. I've reset the battery about 5 times and nothing makes it go away.
Please shine some light on me.
Code is P1105

Is that the only code you're getting and even after replacing the solenoid are you still getting the same code? I know it's bothersome seeing that light on. Mine has been on since I bought my car too throwing codes for fuel trim and random/multiple misfire.

Everyone gets that code. Our cars suck when it comes to throwing codes. we prob get a code from a dome light burnt out. I had that same code. That's the code for the fuel pressure solinoid for sure. The only thing I can think of is your battery is going weak for it'll throw that code when your battery is going out. Might want to check the charging system too.

Reseting your batt 5 times wont make a difference if its a hard code it wont reset on OBD2 cars it stores in your ecm, it needs to be cleared by a scan tool or dsm link or whatever you use. i had the code too i tested the solenoid and its working good but i wasnt getting a ground signal from the ecm which you should get on cold starts for about 2 mins, but like the one guy was saying it could of been because of a dying batt, i had my lights on for a good 2 hours while workin on the tail lights so that could of been it i had another code on before from when i removed the restrictor on my boost solenoid so i dont know when it came on but if it comes on again then i know either my ecm is screwed or my wire to the ecm is open. ill keep you posted if it comes back on.

oh and i know i have only had my car for about 2 months and ive been fixing non stop haha im glad im a mechanic.

Yeah I've had this vehicle for about 6 months and I love her, she's been a really good car besides the check engine light. When I bought the car the previous owner told me it was a newer battery and it does look like a new battery, but I'm going to be hooking up my volts gauge here sometime this week so I'll keep you posted if that was it, I asked a couple local dsm forums as well and they said its the wiring to the ecm as well and I'm getting schematics to check that out.
I will let you all know how this goes thanks for all the help.

I have a 99gst and my car threw this same code for the fps about a month ago. we cleard the code with a scan tool and it came back on about a week later. styaed on for a day and went off on its on this time... been off for about a week now so it may be my wiring as well.
