bought my car from a guy who hardly drove it and had it in his garage most of the time, so i think the tires must have alittle dryrot. ive had 2 of them go flat on me already.... 1 for no reason and the other cuase of a meatal thing in the road... i think im just gunna get some new tires.. and i wanted your opinion..

What tires should i get?? factory eagle rs-a?? or are some other tires cheaper with better performance? im planning on getting some rims / high performance tires this summer, so i just want some all-season tires that are good in the cold/snow that are fairly cheap

any suggestions? a buddy told me just go to pep boys and get some average cheap-ass tires, cuase i have AWD anyway

what do you think?

I went to Tirerack.com and got a set of Sumimoto MTR+ high performance all season tires. They were $60 each and work great in the summer as well as the winter. I have a set of high performance summer tires as well and didn't really notice that big of a handling difference. Tirerack is the way to go IMO.

Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's

Those things wear out very quickly also. I used to run the 711 which has a higher treadwear and they only lasted about a year. I currently run Wynstar Exocet R27. I like em so far, here in FL we only really have 2 seasons, warm and unbearably hot. Not sure how'd they do in the snow. Stock size for me was 55 bucks a piece and they're Z rated. :thumb:

The factory Goodyear RS-As are expensive and are very noisy. They have average treadlife, it lasted me 25K miles. Grip-wise, they suck.

i would go with Yokohamas YK420. It's quieter, grippier and has a long treadlife (420 UTQG). I got them on 17"s at $99 bucks each.

When I got my wheel/tire package, I got the Kumho Ecsta 712s. They are ok, a little noisy and treadlife is short. In a year, approx 9K miles, front ones are bald.

$99.00 for a tire isnt that bad and I believe its still on the bottom spectrum in terms of price. Most tires fall on the $130-150 range, with your Pirelli and Michelins occupying the nosebleed section. ($220 and up OMG )
