1G Cheap ECU repair?

WHo has cheap ecu repair i ave a 90 eprom with a leaking cap that needs repaired and the board cleaned up. Ecu still works fine. I saw like ffwd wanted like 300.

ECU's are $12 at my local pull n save lot.... There were 9 DSMs there last I checked.... I smoke Camel Wides... they have those at YOUR local 7-11

They are not all the same, (turbo, non-turbo, and the little 1.8L) but I'm sure that they are all valuable to someone!



Before someone says that the 1.8L computers are worthless, my wife has one! And she is on her third computer! (found out about just replacing the caps a little late in the game )

No, turbo ones have the knock sensor circuitry and are the only ones people tune with. NT ones have value for people who have broken NT ECU's though... The ones with the most value have eproms in them, as those are the ones you can change the code in and tune (like DSMlink and things like that). They are a mixed bag with 1G's so you have to open them to see what is what, and with 2Gs only the 95's have eproms.

I need an ECU badly, if you could get one at a reasonable price that would be amazing!

Oh yeah, 90 is different than 91-94, keep that in mind.
