I'm not sure if it was just me but i went from Semi-metallic to Ceramic just last friday and it was not pretty. :notgood:

Got serious brake fad going from 80mph and by the time i slowed to 50-40mph it was like i let off the brakes while i in reality was massing them even harder...

Now i went back to cheap Semi-metallic and no brake fade period. :hmm:

Anyone care to explain this to me as every were else i look says it should be the opposite.

Even the guy at the parts store thought i was nuts... until i let him drive LOL

My guess would be that you didn't have them bedded in yet. Were the rotors new or resurfaced? Or did you just change the pads without touching the rotors? Either way you need to do some things to get them bedded in properly, but it may take longer if you didn't resurface the rotors or get new ones.

Whenever you do a brake job you need to take the car out and go through some braking and cooling cycles. Take the car out on some backroads (if possible) and go about 40-50mph and then get on the brakes with med to med/hard brake pressure (while maintaining pressure) until the car comes to a complete stop. Then drive for a few minutes without braking at all if possible.

Just continue to repeat this cycle as many times as you can and you should start to feel them get better. It doesn't hurt to continue this the first few times a given vehicle gets driven after a brake job.:) Just make sure to give them plenty of cooling time in between braking applications and you should be good. Good luck:thumb:

The rotors are pretty new the shops around me wont turn them because there crossed drilled and slotted. :ohdamn:

And i hate them i want normal or slotted ones but ima run these into the ground first. ROFL

I drove on the ceramics for a week and they just got worse and it was getting too scary for me so i went back to semi mettallics now it stops on a dime over and over again so i dont know what to say other than the rotors.

Another tuner guy that i know said ceramics on cross drilled and slotted are not very good anyways but i call just about everything he says BS anyways. :tease:
