ok so heres the story first. its prom night. im driving home at 4 in the morning after , after prom. so my check engine light comes on and im like. well its four in the ####in morning and im not messing with it, ill do it tomorow. im not overheating so im ok haha. so i get home, goto sleep and come out the next morning to leave my girl's house and i dont start. days and money later, i change the plugs and wires and ignition transistor, the MPI fuse and conclude after a little searching my CAS is bad. I dont have spark , thats my problem and i can hear the fuel pump working so its ok. So basically i have no spark, and i want to know if this could be a faulty CAS, if so. in my haynes manual, it does say how to check it, but NOT how to replace it, even though it says if the tests are bad, replace it. but it doesnt say how. If anyone could point me in the direction of the problem and howto install a CAS that would be sweet. thanks everyone.
