2G CEL Code: P1104

Hi. My CEL is on and it returns the code P1104: Manfacurer control, fuel air metering. You guys have any ideas what this means? and what should i get fixed or replaced? thanks

My 99 Mitsu manual says P1104 is the Turbo Wastegate Solenoid malfunction - check it.

Hey luv2rallye, maybe i've mistaken, i think it the code P1105 not 1104, can you check it for me again. I know it says something Manfacurer control fuel air metering. I think it is the O2 sensor but i'm not sure. thanks

P1105 is Fuel Pressure Solenoid malfunction.

If it is 1105, simply replace the Fuel Pressure Regulator Solenoid. It's really simple. The part will probably set you back about $80.

Be glad you got a code on this one man. When mine went, it didn't throw a code and the car just didn't start anymore. You can get the fpsol from partznet.com for around 60 bucks.

Hmmmm, my '98 GSX has been running like crap for 3 months and I've been working so much OT that I couldn't check it out. I went on vacation last week and it popped the CEL light as soon as I hit the Virginia Beach city limits. Sigh!

Took it to Advance and got the P1105 code. I'm an electronic technician, so I checked the fuel pressure solenoid with a meter, and it checks okay according to my service manual. Haven't gone any further with it yet.

Any other ideas?
