2G Carbonetics Sunroof Functional Piece

Has anyone installed the carbonetics FUNCTIONAL sunroof piece? Not the delete panel. I'm having issues with all the bolt holes lining up. OEM panel holes are ovaled which seems to be ideal. I can only get the back 2 bolts to line up.

It’s either hitting something or you need to push down on it. It doesn’t look like it will line up even after that so something’s wrong.

I dicked around for a day trying to make it work and ended up mounting it permanently closed.

I agree. I've tried pushing down from the top and they don't even come close still. Sergio said he stopped selling this design because of issues just like this. Told me to dremel the track out more to try to get a bolt in. Idk I'm gonna mess with it more here this week and we will see but I'm thinking it's a design issue. Definitely not hitting anything idk

Yea I definitely want it to still be functional. I'm determined to find a way to make this work. I can get the back 2 bolts in fine. The other 4 are gonna take some work
