car strated bucking and making weird noise at 85mph

I was going down i-84 in newyork and i was cruzing at about 75 then this lady cut me of so i sped up to pass her and right while i was acclerating to about 85 my car started bucking and making a nasty noise. So i push the clutch in slowed down and let the clutch out agian and it was fine. Needless to say i didnt go 85 for the rest of the trip yo my painter. i think my right fron strut is blown it clunks when i hit bumps a mechanic said that could be the problem. because at high speeds it might lose stability any other ideas?

if it started bucking, it is probably not due to a blown shock...
check for boost leaks

but it felt like somthing was wrong drivetrain wise. I Also dont think it is boost related because i have ran full boost many prior times without problems. could it be a bad axle, ball joint, wheel bearing, clutch related or transfer case related?

could it also be a motor mount issue, fuel or spark issue?

sounds like an axle... check cv boots...go to a parking lot and do circles and listen for clicking.I had an axle that clicked and one that made front end feel like it was comming off.

ive never heard clicking ive heard a pop every once in while. also this whole shaking of the front end has happend 2 other times one time i redlined first and threw it in second and it started to shake badly one other time i was doing 10mph up a hil and when i put it in second it shok and was like brap brap and then it went away. could it a fuel issue?

has to be drivetrain problems...my money is on the axles(cv joints).any tears in the boots?

If it shakes only when you drive=drivetrain...If it was motor it would do it in the driveway,thats how I would narrow it down...sorry Icouldnt be more help...last resort,wait til it breaks thats a surefire way.

thanks for your help my idle was a little shakey the other day aswell.I think it might be both. i think either my cv joint or wheel bearing is bad and somthing in my fuel system is wrong.
