My car is taking a crap on me again anyways here goes. I have had a whining/rubbing :barf: noise coming from my car for quite sometime. This usually happens at low speed normally between 15-25. My mechanic thought it was a flywheel bolt that came loose so we check that out and they were fine. We jacked the car up on lift and checked all the undercarriage out and still nothing. We jacked the wheels up and spun them and we didn't hear anything coming from the brakes on none of the wheels. I changed out tranny filter and fluid and it still persist. No metal chips were in my pan neither so I am assumining my tranny is fine. Anyways help a brother out if you can think of anything the problem might be. car only does it when cruising in low speeds usually between 15-25

Check out the AC belt route and see if the adjuster nut is still on or fell out. Mine had the nut loosened off and defunct. That caused the belt to touch the t-belt housing and made screeching sound when idling but disappears when on driving off. It returns when stopping. I had some spare nuts in my tool box that fit, put it on and all of the screeching is gone. Not to mention AC belt won't break off.

well I checked the harmonic balancer I grabbed it with my hands pushed and pulled the shit outta it, Nothing happened so I guess I will check the A/c BELTS AND PULLEY. SEE if anything is loose around the accesory belt area. Anyways I don't have a Manual tranny so I don't think it is the throwout bearing. haha I plan on getting a 5 speed as soon as this auto takes a crap on me which will more than likely be soon. Anyways I am open for anymore suggestions on what the problem might be. Thanx a lot DSM brothers!
