ok so i got the car like this, you can start the car without pushing in the clutch. i know theres some relay type thing that controls this somewhere and some ppl disconnect it because they feel like it, or the easy way to deal with a remote start. anyways where do i look to fix this?

Look under your clutch pedal and, see if there's a wire disconnected. If it is just connect it and it should work properly.

Check if the car has selectable launch RPM/stutterbox modification in that ECU+. That's the only reason I can think of that the car came that way.

Someone probably disconnected it for one reason. Crankwalk. When you push your clutch in to start the car there it is bad for it. It puts stress on the thrust bearing with no oil down there. With it disconnected it is supposed to be better for the bottom end of the 7 bolt and put less stress on the thrust bearing. If it makes a real difference in crankwalk cases, i couldn't tell you.

I have also heard it is better on the car overall to start it like this. Assuming you start it in N.

The sensor itself could be bad as well.

Damn, this is crazy. I had no idea you can do that. Is there any disadvantages of doing it?
Only when you pick the car up at the smog shop, go to start in a hurry, skip over making sure it's in neutral and find out the mechanic's one of those old-timers who thinks the engine makes a better parking brake than the parking brake.

Does anyone have a picture of what the cable looks like i looked for it but theres a bunch down there any help would be apperciated

Don't have picture but all it is is a switch up at the top of the clutch, pain in the ass to get to, but you just pull it out. Lay your seat back all the way, put your feet above the headrest and get your head down under the stearing column and look up with a flashlight you should be able to point it out, it's the only one that makes sense.
