Car Starts Once

I have a 92 talon Tsi AWD when I start it cold it starts up fine. But as the car idle's down it surge's while the engine warms up. When the engine is warm the car idles high 1500 ish sometimes it idle normal after it surges though the warm up just depends. It drives fine runs fine, but when I turn it off. It wont fire again it will just turn over and I keep smelling fuel like its flooding and it is getting fuel and spark. After it the engine gets cold it will fire again. It just recently threw a CEL, when the CEL pops the car idles fine. I cant find my logger to read the CEL. I am leaning toward ICS motor is the problem what do you guys think?

It won't be the ISC since 1gs don't have a code for that, although your ISC could still be bad. I'd guess maybe a coolant temp sensor since it seems temp related. Unfortunately, you really just need to get the code pulled to find out for sure.

If you can't find your logger, there's a cheap alternative for pulling the code:

Not ruling anything out it could be the coolant temp sensor. Although I replaced it like 2 years ago. I really just need to find my logger and pull the code. I just hope it throws the CEL this time. I will try that buzzer thing too if I cant find my logger. Thanks
