I have searched for a while now and i could not find a definate answer. So this is my problem, either with the car is in neutral or i am driving and i engage the clutch my car will either drop to about 400 rpms or it will completely stall. Say if i have it in neutral parked ad i rev the engine the rpms will come down and the car will stall or if im driving and i press the clutch the car will stall. I have noticed that if i ease into the clutch it doesnt stall but if i quickly press the clutch it stalls. I believe that it is bov not being recirculated but i have not tried to recirculate it because i have no way of doing so. i have a knock off GReddy Type RS bov and i cant just buy the recirc adapter because it will not work. I have also been told it could be the TPS. I am getting a new one today so i will try that later on. But any input would be great. I have no vacuum/boost leaks either. Thanks

If you are not going to bet a BOV that can be recirculated, then look into getting a 3" GM-Maf and a Maf-T so you can properly vent.

Easiest fix is your old stock BOV.

i have both of those. i would like to recirc it but i have no was of doing so. and the stock bov is a different size flange so i cant use it.

Not if its a stock mas. Our Mass is widely inaccurate used in a blow through setup.

Its best to leave it in the stock position, and get some bendy hose to recirculate your bov.

Is the car stalling when you shift while in vacuum? If your not in boost and you shift and get stall, then I doubt its the blow-off valve. TBH I have been working on these cars for 7 years now and have never even once seen a car stall due to a vented blow-off valve. I have seen them go stupid rich for 2-3 seconds, but not stall.

Love the sound of the BOV when its vented, but the car never the the right way.
Speed density allows you to run a open BOV

So I know I'm a few months late on this thread but I'm having the EXACT same problem. I was told it was crankwalk by a local shop. Which makes sense because there is a lot of play when crank pulley was pried off frame rail, as I was told this is one way to determine if the engine walked. But seeing this post made me think about it a little more. Did you ever end up finding the problem to your stall? I have a 2g maf installed to the turbo behind the right headlight. I swore the problem was a TO bearing or a clutch adjustment issue at first? But I'm still lost!!! I hate to go through another entire rebuild if crankwalk isn't the issue. Any advice or findings would be much appreciated!
Thanks
