ok so i came to chicago to buy car this in wisconsin and the guy said all it needs is a new starter so i put a new starter in it and it turned over but didn't run the guy said it had been setting for like 6-7 months. he wound up getting the motor running but now it just dies when you push the clutch down at idle. but if you rev the motor you can push the clutch in and it doesn't die. the guys buddies said it had to be the throw out bearing but my friends said that can't be it cause it wouldn't kill the motor. its got a gm mafs and my friend said that may be the problem. i just was wondering if anybody had this happen before and what the problem may be.
