I have a 1997 Eclipse GS 2.0 non-turbo, 5-speed, and I original thought the timing belt was jumped on my car, and it turns out it is not, now what it does it will shut down on me while driving it, or letting it idle for a while, now I believe it is something electrical because I can reset the computer in it by taking the battery cable off for a few minutes and it will start right up, but I think something is sending a code to the computer that tells it shut down, now I think the Cam Sensor is bad on it, and i'm not sure if that is the cause, I am really at a loss here guys, and I hate to see my car sit like that, I love it like it was my kid haha, but yeah I am open to anything that will help. thank you

it could be the cam sensor or one of the relays or even a wire that is shorting out if thats the case good luck finding it had to do that with a dodge avenger
