420A Car engine cuts off while driving

Hey yall im still pretty new here and need some help i have a 1998 eclipse gs 420a non turbo and was driving the other day when suddenly the engine cuts off the car was still rolling and had radio and other electrical still had power just changed the crank position sensor. Any ideas what it could be bad alternator, battery cable wired maybe ?

Why was the CKP sensor replaced? Maybe there is still an issue there. Possibly a connection issue? Do DTCs set?

Check those grounds! I had a bad ground from battery to frame and it did this once before I fixed it.
