alright here is my problem. when ever i push my car hard or up to around 4000 my car shuts down and at the same time the oil pressure warning lights pops up. anyone know what is happening let me know. thanks

Check and double check all of your hoses and connections inside of your engine compartment. Sometimes the fix is often overlooked, I would know sometimes I overlook it.

by shut down, could you be talking about fuel cut?

in the past i had a car that would hit cut and jolt so hard the low oil light would flick on.

I had the same problem on my car, turns out it was just a hose to a vacuum pump that cracked at the tip, fixed it and never hesitated or quit on me again.

check the resistance from your negative to various points on the chassis. It should be relatively low. I got that problem and my car would shut down. I twisted the negative terminal and it would start right up again. All it took was a 12mm socket and a rachet.

A problem like that is usually an electric problem and not your vacuum hoses.

my car is still having its problem. when it starts up cold its fine but as it gets hot it'll die off. if i try to start it up again it'll crank over but die off. the only way for it to start is if i put the ac/heater on full blast then it'll start up and stay steady. the only way for me to drive it is also having the ac/heater on full blast but sometime it would still shut off. could it something wrong with my cooling system or a bad thermostat.
