car shakes when i start to stop

i've been having problems with my car shaking when i start to stop.i just recently got to new tires on the drivers side and both the passengers side tire are pretty worn,could that have something to do with it? i also just put a new outer tie rod end on the passengers side and got the wheels aligned so i know thats not it..does anybody have any ideas on what it might be..thanks for the help.

Warped rotors will shutter and shake when braking.

Check your ball joints. I had this problem when mine went bad. No more shutter once i got them replaced.

Yes either one could be the problem also could be your brakes. I would look at the tires of being the culprit first. If you can, get two more new tires on the right side, or atleast rotating your two tires that are more worn out to the rear instead of the right side. That should help out. If you have the wheels off might as well check the brakes while you are in there just so you know whether or not they could be causing problems. good luck

i looked at the brakes and there not to bad,also right before i got it realigned i replaced the lower control arm(the straight one).is there anyway of telling if the rotor is bad? i know its coming from my passenger side front.its also making a weird noise when im just slowly rolling.

If you have worn tires on the right side and new tires on the left then I would put the 2 newer ones up front. The vibration while braking is coming from your rotors. If you feel it more in the steering wheels it's the front rotors, if it's more in your seat then it's the rear ones. Their really isn't any other way to tell if they are warped without a lathe. You won't be able to tell just by looking at them. You will need to either replace them with new ones or get them machined so they are straight again. Most brake shops around here will simply charge you a small fee to resurface the rotors. This is fine as long as the rotors are not to thin after they are cut.

The only other thing I can think that would cause this would be a wheel bearing or a worn suspension part. If you just had the car aligned then I would think they at least checked for this before aligning it. If they didn't then I would find another shop.

Ok thanks for the help.I'm leaning toward it being the rotors so looks like I'll be getting some drilled/slotted rotors now!!
