Okay, I left on a trip out of town about a week ago, car ran fine and clutch felt fine. So i got back today and decided to start my baby up and take it for a ride. Well it started fine, then i went to put it into reverse the clutch just sank to the ground and wouldnt come back up... This was a little confusing because it hadnt been driven in a week and it was driving fine last time i had taken it for a spin. It felt kinda the same as when my master cylinder went bad, so i first checked that, no noticeable leaks, checked reservoir, seemed fine. I didnt replace the slave cylinder since i got the car so thats still in question, however, i couldnt find any signs of leaking fluid anywhere, however, after bleeding the clutch a couple times the clutch would come back up, but catches WAY low.
It started raining pretty hard so i didnt get a good bleed on it, so it might get better with a few more rounds at it. The main thing im wondering is what caused it to get like that in the first place? Naturally i feel like the slave cylinder is a good place to start, but id like to hear the opinions from some of you before i go out there when it stops raining. Thanks guys, hopefully its something i can take out tomorrow so i can have my car back. Any posts would be greatly appreciated. - Brandon
