Car runs like shit after 3" turbo back

Well I got my 3" turbo back on. My car was tuned at 18psi and pulled like a raped ape before the exhaust.. Put on the exhaust and now it runs like shit. Go's rich on decel and bucks under boost. I am using safc2 and aem eugo

Probably boost creeping and leaning out under boost due to the reduced exhaust restriction. Your boost gauge and UEGO would confirm this. Otherwise, the exhaust is basically unrelated to anything else it may be.

How do you solve boost creep justin?? I haven't looked into it much.

I know you said you ported the wastegate flapper on the 16g you upgraded to a 20g for me but I see about 3 psi of boost creep on my car now. Itll go to 17psi and kind of fade to 14-15psi within about 1k rpm of max boost.

I see 17psi by 3800-4k with my bc 288's and full 3" w/ no cat, resignator or muffler and by 5200 when the cams just start to pull hard, the boost has dropped to 14-15psi but stays there until 7750 (rev limit )

I think I have creep and spike mixed up.. If I have my mbc all the way backed out so I can blow through it, it will spike to 20psi fst.

You don't. On certain turbos you either have creep or boost that tanks as you approach redline...there doesn't seem to be a happy medium whatsoever.

The ways to "solve" the problem only make it more difficult to run higher boost later (larger flapper, fancy porting, etc). If you're having trouble with creep you may as well spend the money you were going to spend to solve your boost creep problem on larger injectors, a fuel pump, and a tuning solution that you'll want later on down the road anyway. Use the fuel mods to safely run a boost level where creep doesn't exist, and call it "solved".

+1 for that, I bought a 16g from you with a 34mm flapper I believe, and it holds 21psi solid with the stock downpipe/cat and 3" catback

No creep here. But again it's a 14b, but with stock intake and cams it did creep. Also with cyclone setup it did creep. 264's evo3 itm and fp exhaust won't hold boost. Drops to 15psi by 7000 rpm.
