Whats up guys. I just recently bought a 95 tsi talon with 2gb eclipse conversion and i cannot figure out the problem with the motor. For starters it sounds like its cammed at idle and when i rev it the tach goes up so slow and when it reaches 5k it dosnt want to move like it gets stuck. It idles at a good 1350 rpms and if i put it in first gear and try to move it, it starts to pull then backfire. I know its missing on a cylinder somewhere and ive replaced everything to try and get it running right. Ive replaced the coil pack, power transitor, eprom with another eprom bought 8.5mm spark plug wires just everything...i will be checking the injector pulse tomorrow to see if that changes. Any info would help guys, let me know what you guys think. And yes i searched...

does it have a 1g cas or 2g? the 1g cas can cause similar problem! could also be a dead cylinder try a compression test and see how your compression is across the board! also check the maf sensor on the intake and make sure thats pluged in!

Have you checked your timing and pressure tested yet?

Yea the timing is dead on..I have a 95, so the cas is under the intake cam.I guess im going to do a compression test..But it turns over fairly easy. Now if its a bad cylinder whats my options? Thanks guys
