So after installing new clutch 2800lb plate, slave cyl and master cyl, I have a problem of having my trans pop 4th out at low rpm around 1500rpm. I have my clutch pedal adjusted pretty loose so I'm wondering if that could be it? The car shifts like butter this is just the only issue I see. There are no grinds or anything telling me its a syncro. My trans is actually double syncro 1-4. Any ideas how to stop this?

Hmmm of course I'm hoping not. I checked my shifter bushings and all are looking good I have only one adjuster. And nohings twisted. My cc box is sitting right in my cables though that might be it. The trans I fairly new still under 20k miles. Could adjusting the clutch help? It popped out of first twice at the same rpm range. And I could feel it mostly in the pedal.

I had a 91 TSi that did the same thing. It was a shift fork that caused the problem.
