car is sluggish when it gets to operating temp

the car is a 93 gs, 6 bolt swap, stock with all new bearings and gaskets. Last night we took it out for a test drive and it ran amazingly good. After about 3 blocks when it got to full operating temp it made a Little sound like a mis-fire and seemed to get very sluggish and the idle just got nasty.It would stall every time I pushed in the clutch, but would start right back up again ,but not idle. Today I went to start it and it runs just great again. Any thoughts?

Smell the ecu... mmmmmmmm fiiiiissshhhhh

I will take a look at it and see....good thing the screws for the console are still out

and would a 92 N/T ECU work or does it have to be a '93?

as far as I know they are swappable.

ty at least I know I have a spare if needed.

Just an update of the fix.......I pulled the ECU and opened it ,but it did not have a smell to it. After pulling the circuit board and looking closer I could see very little burn marks. Put the new ECU in and it works great!!!!!!! Ty for all the help and input.
