Ok here it is My car is running like it has a bad injector or a misfire but all the injectors are fine and the spark is fine...so I hooked it up on the old laptop and checked the check engine codes on the ecmlink and heres what it said code number 0012 VOLUME AIR FLOW CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION.....I would assume this would have to do with the mas air flow sensor.....so I went to dsmlink.com to research the code and see what can cause it to throw the code in the first place and the site wouldnt let me register, so if anyone on here is a member on ecmlink.com or dsmlink.com forums please go check it out for me Thanks alot guys!!!! Or if you have an idea of what it is let me know what you think!!:thumb:

0012 VOLUME AIR FLOW CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION.....
That means the ECU is not seeing a valid signal from the MAF sensor. I checked your mods list and I see you're running a GM MAF using our cable. Given that, it's always possible that the cable has failed in some way if everything else seems to check out OK.

Just for grins, you may also want to check your GM MAF for compatibility. This page has details on what is and what isn't compatible with our cable.

Its running on all four cylinders.....but It builds boost and just doesnt go anywhere, there is no boost leaks/vaccum leaks.....I dont know if the tune got messed up or if I need to get a new set of injectors because all I did was clean them....Ive never come across something like this kinda wierd. But I'm sure it will be expensive for me to fix!! Gotta love dsm's!!!

Possibly. But a bad injector will absolutely not through a volume airflow circuit malfunction code. Any chance the MAF sensor was just disconnected temporarily while trouble shooting? That would through the code.

I thought the gm maf sensor had the map sensor in it? If that is true than any misfire will make it detect a faulty vaccum pressure. Because after I cleaned the injectors out and put them back on it doesnt throw the code anymore? I still gotta check fuel pressure and I'm goin to put new gas and a fuel filter in it when I have some spare time to screw with it again. And know the maf sensor was never unplugged and the ecmlink gm maf cable is working its sending signals through the sensor so its fine and I even got a new maf sensor and it changed nothing before cleaning the injectors. Its gotta be something simple I'm just over thinking it!! Keep brainstorming and let me know of anything else you think of!!!!:thumb:thanks

There is no MAP sensor inside the GM MAF.

The ONLY way to get that VAF code is for the ECU to fail to see an airflow signal for some period of time on the MAF input to the ECU. Swapping injectors and the code going away were purely coincidental. I expect that code will return at some point, unfortunately.

Well I found out what the problem was....The coil for cylinders 1 and 4 is shot thats all it was. I then took for a drive and the hood pins came out and the hood flew up and smashed my windshield in. Thank god it didnt get into the roof to bad!!! Should have it fixed and ready for the strip next month.....shooting for 11s with slicks:hellyeah:
