Car died.....

ok, was going down to the local "grocery store" and coasting to a stop(in neutral). and she dies dunno why just out of no ware. starts up and runs fine dunno why it quit but it did. also this kinda grinding/ knocking noise that sounds like its comming from the engine but i cant really tell almost sounds like its comming form the tranny or somthing. the noise happens sparatically for about 5 sec than stops and comes back hours/ days laters dunno im afraid my car is gettin ready to take a shit. it's had odd idle jumps about 30-50 rpms every so often since i put in the intercooler / blowthrough setup...idle issue with the blow through setup / unmetered air ????

Give it a Boost Leak Test, and i would check/replace the fuel filter if its geting time anyway, when my filter took a crap on me, it would just die when coming to a stop. But i would give it a boost leak test, for the idle.
