First of all my car just got back from English Racing, they put in a new oil pump/ water pump, new oil pump seals, all new belts, new cylinder head, etc. She was running great, with no problem at all and she died on me going about 50mph all the lights just shut off and everything died... I pulled into some driveway. Popped the hood, checked the timing belt, and it was fine. The car won't even turn over at all.. When i go to ACC nothing happens at all.. like there is NO power.. And i have a BRAND new red top Optima battery.. SO i'm like  I do have another 91 for parts when i find out whats wrong with this.. Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks

Did you check the fuses? Sounds like you have a short some where and the ignition fuse blew. It happened to me once when I was making a right hand turn.

Yes I checked my fuses and found that my 30amp fuse near my battery was blown replaced it and it turned over but didn't start then it blew the fuse again... I took a picture of the fuses its the far one on the left.. what fuse is this for???

You more than likely have an exposed wire somewhere that is shorting out that fuse. I was lucky when I found mine. I almost instantly knew where to look. It ended up being the noise filter on the fire wall. The cylinder shaped thing that usually attaches to the intake manifold. I also went through like 3 fuses going "wtf?"

I'd definitely hunt for that short.

Thanks for the help man, but i don't know where to start, i don't know what fuse this is for.. If anyone could help me out, that would be great. I suck with electrical :ohdamn:

Man if you keep blowing the the fuse try troubleshooting with a fuse breaker just make sure to get the exact same amp rating and that will guide you as to where to start from, most likely is a stripped cable touching ground try to search the area where the guys from ER worked on!
Good luck

That fuse is your ignition fuse off your main fuseable link.

Look on page nine. Since your car has abs it has the extra fuse. It was throwing me off for a while....I knew it was the ignition fuse LOL.

Use this thread to check for a short:

that exact same thing happened to me. But with the headlights fuse. Follow any wire that has to do with the ignition, and ignition timing. the smallest part of the wire that is exposed and having contact with a ground will blow the fuses.

Thanks for the information everyone, i talked to Lucas via email from ER and he told me this "Most of the time when I see that fuse blow its because the fuel pump wire in the tank is caught and is pinched in the housing ware its bolted to the tank." So i'm going to check it out and see if that's it... I will report back and let you guys know!

So i went out and checked my fuel pump and what do you know, my power wire was pinched to the housing.. I fixed it up where its not pinched and put a new 30 amp fuse and bam started right up and runs like a CHAMP.. Thanks everyone for the help, and thank you English Racing for never pointing me in the wrong direction!!

I am glad you got it all worked out and the vender helped out as well. Its always good to see venders that take the time to help trouble shoot instead of saying "Bring the car back and we will check it out " only to charge another fee to find the issue.

Good job :)
