okay so i can't find an answer to my problem. i have search and nothing seems to come up. here is the problem my autometer gauge reads 9psi under full boost but my stock guage reads less and never seems to be able to reach full boost. the car does not have power under boost like it should.

here are my mods. fully built engine, shepherd trans and tranfer case, comp cams, evo 16g mitsu turbo, 560 evo injectors, 2g maf, safc2 zeroed out, stock intercooler setup, 1g bov, 3inch downpipe all the way back, long list but these are the powerpoints. please ask away i am in need of a soulition

checked no boost leak that i know of. anybody with that experiance this type of issue before? please give me some input.

Check the exhaust side of the turbo system. You could have a small leak not allowing the turbo to fully spool. And you might not notice the leak until you push boost. I had a teeny-tiny leak on the exhaust manifold gasket that kept me around 10psi for awhile. I think I noticed mine with a small drip of condensation dripping down...

Like Liquid said, did you use soapy water? I think that a proper boost leak test is in line to be performed. Not saying you, but some people tend to say they did a boost leak test and actually have not. Thinking that they don't have one. Search and read up on proper boost leak testing and don't stop looking untill you read about soapy water.

I don't know if anyone else noticed but he didn't list an aftermarket fuel pump. Not saying thats your problem, but with all the other mods, your gonna need an aftermarket fuel pump and a front mount. But do a proper boost leak test and change your hot side gaskets (motor-manifold, manifold-turbo, and turbo-downpipe/o2 housing). And check to make sure you don't have a clog anywhere in your intercooler piping or exhaust. You never know, buddy found a dead rat stuck in his cat (no pun intended) that caused his car to fall on its face untill the damn thing caught fire hahaha that was a fun time pullin that thing outta his exhaust

sorry i just put the important mods down. yes i have an aftermarket fuel pump 255 whineboro, i have a leak tester and everything seems soild. exhuast side however i have to check better later.

Just curious here, but do you have an MBC installed? What are you considering full boost? Also just ignore the stock gauge altogether, it's useless. As for your aftermarket boost gauge are you sure it's at zero with the car off? Some gauges get tweaked and may read improperly. Without an MBC stock wastegate pressure is usually 10-12 psi so you're not that far off actually. Is the stock boost control solenoid still hooked up?
