can't raise boost pressure

I'm running a Turboxs high performance manual boost controller to control my Fp3052. The most boost that I can get it to is 22 psi. Is it because my 2.0 motor won't generate enough exhaust to spin it or is my external opening too much, I've already added a spring to the wastegate.

What springs are in the WG?

Have you checked for boost leaks? Many people run 30+ on the 3052

The motor provides more than enough exhaust flow to spin the turbine that much. Unless you have stock exhaust, or some other kind of restrictive part. What size spring in your wastegate?

Check the pressure where your BOV starts to open.

Just to update the fix to the situation. I totally forgot about crushing the 1g bov. After doing that can you say whoa? Boost for days!
