Cant get the Oil Pan to budge

I removed the driver side axle assembly, disconnected the downpipe, disconnected the oil line for the turbo, and i removed all of the bolts that are holding the oil pan on from the bottom. I cant seem to get this thing to drop. Is there something else that needs to be unbolted for this thing to move?

If all the bolts are out, then it's probably just the rtv holding it on. I've always used a putty knife to cut the rtv since they're thin and sharp. Just stick it in between the block and the pan and work your way around the whole oil pan. It should just drop out then.

Ill try the putty knife, hopefully i dont get slapped in the mouth with the pan .

Sometimes I'll hit it with a rubber mallet from the sides to help the pan budge. And yes I've been pan slapped

Yup, it's the RTV holding it in place. Sometime they are such a pain to remove, you'd swear you missed a bolt. If you're lucky, the pickup tube will catch the pan before it comes at you like a spider monkey.
