Well i just got my mbc in today. I ran the lines like everyone says...not the bov line but from the turbo and wastegate actuator. I used really short lines. I could barely mount it to the radiator fan. When i adjusted it i could only get it to 16 psi. That is with the set screw almost out of the controller. I'm thinking it is because i am venting:toobad: Does anyone know for sure?

OK, what kind of controller is it? Is the pressure line run to the bottom of the controller and the wastegate line ran to the side of the controller? How high is the controller made to function? Is it a bleeder style or a ball and spring style? Venting has nothing to do with the situation. Also, does it go to a certain psi, say 10, then creep up to 16 psi? Or does it just boost all the way to 16 without stopping?

A good way to diagnose problems is to narrow down the possibilities of stuff going wrong.
You can attach a line directly from the compressor cover to the wastegate, which should give you around 10-12psi. If everything runs fine with this setup, it is your boost controller giving your problems.

Run a line directly from the compressor outlet to the wastegate. If you're still stuck at 16 psi, then you have a boost creep issue that is not related to the boost controller.

Highly doubt your getting boost creep with your mods. With mine, i had one with a breather hole, but it was too big and i was trying to run less then 15 psi so i ended up using one without a breather hole. If you losen your controller almost all the way and your running that high, either your hole is too big if you have one, or something else isn't right.

I bought a Voodoo II controller. You have a Voodoo III. Basically the same controller as far as i can see. Two things you can try. One, i would cap the hole up on the boost controller and unscrew it all the way and see what you run. You can cap it by putting several pieces of electical tap around it, just to see if that makes a difference. You not really supposed to cap it unless you running under 15 psi, but in this case you want to. Another thing is T it off your BOV line. Many people do it this way and many do it other ways. I have it off my BOV line because my J pipe doesn't have a nipple since its an aftermarket one. It works just fine.

Ya i was going to run it off the bov line but i searched and saw a million threads to do it this way. Thanks for all the help and i will be sure to tape it off and tell you how it went.

ok well i tried doing what no skillz said and i took a line from the turbo comp cover and put it straight to the wastegate actuator and i got a whopping 14lbs compared to the 10-12 predicted. Does this affect anything...is my turbo dyin on me? wrong with it?

All cars are a little different, added to the fact that not all boost guages are 100% accurate. Statistically speaking, you're well within 1 standard distribution of the guassian curve. I wwill go ahead and say you have nothing to worry about.
