Cant get 2g FWD auto Tranny Mount out! Help

Hey guys! Im in the process of finally changing out the pass side upper tranny mount and the rear mount.( I have already changed the front and drivers side to Prothane mounts)

I cant remove the mount for the life of me. Ive tried everything
even lowering the motor all the way till it sits on the subframe!

I have tried everything! The mount just wont clear the studs? what do I do?
Is there a trick or something for this?

The only mount with a stud is the passenger side tranny mount. Remove the center bolt that attaches the mount to the frame and the bolts that secure the mount to the transmission.
Once all the bolts are removed it has plenty of clearance to slide straight up. You may have to remove the cruise control solenoid (at least move it) and remove the battery and mounting plate to slide the mount up. There aren't any special tricks for removing the mount though.

There is 4 studs that hold the tranny mount in place. I have removed all the nuts and the center bolt too. I cant get enough clearance to get the mount over the studs.... It hits the mounting bracket thats welded to the body. I have even lowered the motor off of all the mounts and have it sitting on the subframe and still it doesnt give me enough clearance. Do I have to remove the subframe to do this?

It's been a while since I've removed the mount myself.
I remember tere's a plate that the mount sits on that's bolted to the transmission. When you remove all the bolts that hold that plate to the transmission does it come off, or is there still a stud that holds it on?

I havent seen any plates below it. I will check that out. Is it the plate that has the 4 studs in it? and then you can remove the whole plate? I dont see it comming out anyway unless the motor drops far enough.

lowered the motor off of all the mounts let it rest in subframe, raises the car from passenger side and then raises the motor from drivers side (oil pan) that should give you space to remove the mount. that´s how I did it but that mount was the last I took of and the first I put on.
