Just got my car back from my engine build yesterday and i go to plug my dsmlink into my new ecu i just bought from a tuning shop and got it chipped there too for my dsmlink, but i cant long into the ecu, it says command failed out, could this be a bad ecu??? we tried another laptop just to make sure it wasnt my serial port and still nothing. help, i need my car back. its just sitting outside of the shop waiting for a base tune to get it out, and i also have to change the cas over as i have a 99 and the eprom is a 95.

Sometimes I have to use different ports (USB in my case), and also change the port in the options. I'm guessing it's software related.

Post this on the DSMlink forums. The best part about DSMlink is the support you get after the purchase. I'd say less than 3% of the members here have and use DSMlink.

Yeah the car starts and everything i just cant log on. Imthinking it might be the obdII port now. Also is there a fuse for the obdII in the engine bay somewhere??? I think i read somewhere there was.
