I spun a rod after spending thousands at some. Shop. So I'm doing the repair its a 7 bolt long block with like 25 miles on it. So I also have 6 bolt rods and pistons. What I want to know is can I use a 7 bolt bare block with a 6 bolt crank .To of course use you bolt rods. ### don't respond with (why don't you use a you bolt block! )....because that why. Thanks in advance guys.

WTF!?!? Your grammar is terrible for one. I can barely make out what your saying.

Two: You just had a motor built by a shop and it spun a rod bearing in less than 25 miles? Yet "Your" fixing it, Something isnt adding up or your not filling us in.

I would bet the shop did not remove the balls from the oil galleys in the crank when they went to clean it.

The crud that was built up behind the balls washed out and right into the rod bearings.

OP, Get another 7 bolt crank, have the balls removed and the crank cleaned properly, have the 7 bolt rods checked for size, and machined to correct.

Thanks guys .Just wanted to know. And awd. guy. Predictive text ruins grammar . And what doesn't add up is my money that's why I'm doing it and next time of you don't have any thing productive to share then question your motives pal this is a place for help and guidance. Not a place were you can question and put some one down. Shame on you . Not the expected behavior from some one from the dsm community.. .........pig

Bahaha! It kind of hard to contribute when your english is that of a 2nd grader. Also what I was implying when I said "You" fixing it was why wont the machine shop that built it for thousands have a helping hand in fixing it....dick. So get your panties out of a wad and grow up.
