k, I have a oil leak that I cant seem to track. well I know my oil drain is leakin but its not too bad, but then I look up at the knock sensor and I see a drip of oil on it.

so can that thing leak oil? or its coming from somewhere else. I thought it just bolted on to the block, dont see why it would need oil.

TIA

the knock sensor wont leak oil and yes it is simply screwed into the block. Although there is a gel inside the sensor itself that could possibly leak out. If that were the case your sensor would probably be going crazy though. You might want to check your valve cover for the oil leak. I know on my car it was leaking and running down the intake manifold.
