Can a 2g Coil Pack be used with a 1g head swap?

I just want to make sure that my 2g coil pack and ignitor will work fine with my 1g head swap. Do I need special brackets or will the same brackets work. I'm not at home with my car in hand (at school currently) so its difficult for me to visualize what is needed, and RRE makes reference to the coil pack on their faq so I figured Id ask here as I know someone has done this swap and should know.

it will work --- 1g intake mani ? or 2g intake ? either way you can make it work.

It will be a 1g manny obviously, since I am using a 1g head. I know the coil pack mounts in a different location, however I wasnt sure if the same bracket could be used, and if the wiring harnesses will still reach.

I just finished my 1G head swap about a month ago and the igniter and coilpack definately did not reach. We ended up having to splice the wires and running them farther towards the coilpack. It ended up being a quick fix and all it took was speaker wire, not a huge deal, but they definately do not reach.
