Hey guys,
I'm finallly starting to clean up the head and well I have 3 6-bolt heads to choose from. They all measure 5.200 so none have been machined. The one that came off the car is my first choice, however that head has 222k miles on it. The head off my laser (gone 10 years ago) would be my next choice. But taking a closer look at all 3 heads, and the camshaft journals, all of them have pitting on the exhaust camshaft journals.

Every search I tried came up with actual cams that had scrapes or pitting, so I'll throw this out there as a new thread. I'd say it was oil-starved or debris over time. 222k miles is a LOT of cam revolutions.

Is this situation an align hone fix ? I don't think a polish would help it.
