Camshaft ID

I searched the forum and found many threads about this but mine are not listed. I also did a few google searches. I need help identifying my cams. Near the cam gear they are stamped HJ and 154 with 4 being upside down(exhaust) . And HJ 211 (intake) Thanks

Good chance they are stockers.

Best bet is to pull them and measure them.

Thanks I was leaning towards stock. I was told it had hks 272's when I bought it,but it runs smooth at 800 rpms and idles at 20 vac .

Roll em around and check the surfaces Ive circled in red for any engraving or stamping, as many of the aftermarket companies mark cams here.

Edit: If its running that smooth with 272 cams and no degree work or tuning with adjustable cam gears, theyre likely stock cams. Car looks nice, I just hope you didnt over pay.

HKS cams are normally marked in the middle of the cam, along with having part of the part number etched on the hex of the cam

Ahh, yes, I forgot he said HKS specifically earlier on. Dont you have a set laying around in the shop right now?

I think I do.

But it is shown in the CAM ID thread.

But they could well be Delta HKS clones, regrinds, and those are easy to pick out due to the smaller base circle of the cam.

No markings besides A (intake) and E (exhaust) on the cas side other then those numbers and HJ . I'm sure they are stock the car is ecmlink tuned but no adjustable cam gears. I paid 4800 probably not bad if it wasn't so messed up. I just finally got it figured out and running good last night. Thanks

BTW It is in fact a 6 bolt swap. It's also supposed to be a 2.3 stroker. Anyway of telling without removing oil pan? I really don't believe anything the seller listed now.
