Cams killed my motor?

Update:I was able to drive the car the 90 miles from college back home, then a few weeks later I drove it to my new home 225 miles from there with some over heating issues.

I then let it sit in my garage for almost two months without touching it. Recently I grabbed the map sensor out of it to use in my other car, then I also pulled the ECU to temporarily use in my other car. Just this past weekend I checked the timing on it and it was still perfect, I then swapped in some stock cams that I had from a different head, and put the MAP sensor and ECU back in. Now it won't start. Since I messed with the ECU and MAP sensor, I can't really say anything about whether it is the cams or not that is preventing it from starting or possibly fixing my issue. Therefore I can't provide a resolution to my issues other than I am done working on it, and it will eventually get rebuilt.
